You need to provide docs regarding 3 things to prove that you have a close relative in Canada:

 

1.Proof of relationship-providing this proof can be done by submitting birth or marriage certificates. For example, to prove that your relative in Canada is your paternal uncle, it would be necessary to submit birth certificates for him and your father showing they have at least one common parent.

 

2.Proof of Status-Can be proved by providing PR card, citizenship card.

 

3.Proof of residency-Provide evidence that relative physically resides in Canada. Include copies of lease agreements, Notice Of Assessment  from CRA, an employer letter confirming employment, bank statements, credit card invoices and monthly bills.
